Cake pops are my favorite. You can make so many cute and exciting figures and place them on a stick and make them a dessert pop. Although cake pops do take some time to make, they are worth it. Everyone oohs and ahhs over  how cute and creative cake pops are.

These are the perfect dessert for Christmas. These santa hat cake pops are too cute not to make. Baking puts you in the spirit and these little santa will put you in the mood along with some Christmas music. Just get the baking ingredients, put on some Christmas music and you will be set for having the perfect holiday night!

Ingredients:

  • Hats: Red Candy Melts and White Candy Melts
  • Fur: White sugar crystal sprinkles
  • Balls: White coated expresso beans, gumballs or yogurt covered peanuts
  • Paper lollipop sticks
  • Styrofoam block

Instructions:

  1. Make a cone shape instead of a ball. Put in the freezer until firm.
  2. Holding the top part of the hat, dip the bottoms in white candy melts, insert the lollipop stick and set in a styrofoam block to dry.
  3. Once dry, dip the tops in red candy melts so that it meets where the white ends. Gently place the balls to the top of the hat while still wet. Let them dry.
  4. Then, use a toothpick to generously dab more white candy melts all around the bottom of the hat.
  5. While still wet, sprinkle the sugar crystals on.
